a flop, but then again, group albums always sell less

in fact, i think TOS numbers, are proportionately correct, to g-unit's sales in the past

grodt - 12-13 million
beg for mercy - 2 million

curtis - plat
tos - around gold

looks about right to me, em went diamond, d-12 did 2 mill, you can't compare group albums, to the albums of the stars from the groups, you'd be better off comparing that to what a tripple c's album could do in comparison, or jeezy with USDA or some sh1t like that

50 Cent is the leaf member of Gunit, Ross isnt a member of Triple C's and Jeezy not a member of USDA...just admit that nobody was interested in the record better yet the whole group...Ross is more relevant right now...he got an active single in rotation...50 just flopping

If he is beefing with 50 cent you would have to cmopare it with 50 cents album.
i'm not a fan of g-unit but yayo's latest album sold like 100k more than rick ross latest..

is tripple c's not his group tho? i honestly don't know, i'm assuming here
and em is the "leaf" member of d-12, and while their album did good, it did nothing in comparison to his solo records, as a collestive, they sold a fraction, of what em sold on his own, same with 50/g-unit

a fraction of a million vs. 12 million, ain't sh1t , i see what you trying to do, so i won't throw salt, just statin

its a difference though...Ross isnt a part of Triple C's, they are signed to his label...50 is actually a member of G-Unit, and together they sold 98k...there is no other way to spin it...we can either say 50 himself sold 98k or we can split it through each member and say he sold 30k...

Just some facts from 2009

I Get It In
U.S. Billboard Hot 100 53

Get Up
U.S. Billboard Hot 100 44

Crack a Bottle
U.S. Billboard Hot 100 1

Magnificient
U.S. Billboard Hot 100 62

Deeper than rap, Great album #1 on the billboards with 152k but basically he would be #1 if you had sold more than 101k or more.
So talking about relevancy 50 cent is still more relevant than rick ross on the billboard chart with no real single. So what should we compare Deeper Than Rap's success with 50 Cent's third album The Massacre that sold 1.4 million first week or 50 Cents official third album that sold about what rick ross best selling album sold in it's first week? or shall we wait until 50s next album?

In any event i don't really care about the sales, Rick Ross deserved to sell more Port of Miami and Trilla cause the album was better and imo his album was much better than Curtis but with him selling less than his last album with 10 times more hype does that make him less relevant than he was before the 50 cent beef?

ur still 40k short my friend...holla me when 50 gets 3 straight number 1 albums...1st artist to do that since 2001

like i said bruh, i'm not a ross fan so i didn't know he wasn't actually "in" tripple c's, but is that is group, or not? he said himself that when the album comes out, he's going to be a heavy presence on it...so obviously, they are coming into the game, under him, correct?

but even with that aside, in proportion to g-unit's group sales, to 50's solo albums, TOS numbers, make sense, especially by their standards

when he was selling 12 mill, the group was selling 2, if he's going plat and some change, they ain't going to be doing too much of sh1t

It might actually be because Rick Ross just dropped an album and 50 cent is not about to release an album?
50 only thinks about numbers these days and is going to wait until the perfect moment to release his album and he will go atleast gold first week but i have a feeling that deeper than rap still will be better and for that 3 straight #1, i actually think The Massacre in it's first week has sold more than all rick ross 3 albums together? or maybe 100k less... we've got artist that has sold 400k and still not debuted at #1.. I wonder how Rick Ross's features looks if he is going to be a 150k first week 400k total rapper or if his going to step it up to t.i, jeezy and ludacris and their league

And then we've got Thriller it sold 50 million copies but never debuted at #1, Sales are estimated to be between 47–109 million copies sold worldwide. but never debuted at #1 does that mean that deeper than rap is more successful than Thriller?

and btw if you say that 50 is g-unit then he has also got 3 straight #1 records

Threadstarter getting his ass whopped something serious in his own thread

And that Ross is the only artist that have three #1's under his belt since 2001 is a lie. Jay got it, T.I got it, Luda got it. And this was just with a quick search.

Rick Ross new album wouldnt even be relevant if it wasnt for the beef with 50

You must be blind or def ...nobody is acting like TOS was a success...It flopped..I like the record but felt is was incomplete..it flopped...But you can't see the same about ross ..the nikka flopped..DTR flopped ..50 smashed the cat ..

I still think ross got some hot shyt ..but he flopped ...but let me shoot this back to you ..

if 150 is goo what's 700,000 plus ? Cuz that's what 50's last record sold in the first week ..?

they are not the same ...

I like 50 gunit ect..when it flops it just flops ..I can say that ..it seems your stuck ..

...a fraction of a flop...like 65.5%...

...spending all your time dissing one group of people and praising another is a 300% flop, though...
