this is like my guilty pleasure, i think her music is awesome...i think it has great potential for sampling to make flashing lights/808's type beats...

Anybody else listen to her music though??

I'm not big on her latest efforts, but Homogenic and Vespertine are undeniable greats.

Ya.. Bjork is cool.. She's my guilty pleasure as well, not one other person I know can stand her music.. I think her voice is amazing.. Absolutely stunning.. Haven't really given a proper listen to her newer stuff though, but Vespertine and Homogenic are two of my favorite electronica albums...

I like pretty much like everything on Post and most of Debut, but Homogenic and Vespertine are much more cohesive. Selmasongs and Medulla have interesting ideas, but too many of them fall flat. Volta is meh, and Drawing Restraint 9 is mostly unlistenable.

What's so guilty about it? Bjork is one of the most celebrated and creative artists of the 90's/00's. Between Debut and Vespertine she could do no wrong - it's only the last couple of records that have had 1 or 2 duds.

It's really interesting listening to her remixes from the 90's. It shows how timeless her records were when you compare them to remixes by Deodato, Goldie, Towa Tei or Howie B, all of which were grounded in specific genres like Trip-Hop, R&B, DnB etc. Even Dallas Austin remixed a song.

i always liked her stuff, plus it was easy to get into cause it had kind of a hiphop sound to it. especially the Post album
