Rap hasn't been just about the music for a long long time. Which is why people like Rick Ross exist. I'm sorry, you can't take an artist like Ross, whose whole image is 1000% fabrication and lies, then play the "oh, it should be all about the music!" card. That's silly as hell.

If it was just about the music Ross wouldn't have lied in the first place. The music would've spoke for itself. Instead he came out the gate talking about he knows Noreaga and a bunch of other dumb sh*t. So right off the bat he made it impossible to focus solely on his music.

Lastly people make it seem like 50 Cent should get into some type of "rap battle" or something, as if 50 Cent is on some "real MC" sh*t. He's not. He's a pop rapper worth $400 mill. The sad thing about this is Ross will get this for the rest of his career. Just some ppl will have the balls to say it and some won't. He can't DJ Vlad everybody. Even when that happened, he came off as a lame. No matter what excuses he gives, this will haunt him. He'll regret not answering the question earlier when it came up. Of course the ppl around him will tell him he's winning or he's killing him cus he got a bunch of "yes man" around him. He lost in the sense, cus after the storm passes, 50 won't have to answer to none of this, Ross Will.
