i live in the city. you joking right? they played nothing but ross on hot 97 and power 105 lately.
Jabba just played the song with Ross and Foxy from deeper then rap.
They play Ross more than 50. Are you kidding. They play Ross. He's a rapper. Down south the play 50 cuz he's a rapper.
Plus answer my question about how Ross is supposed to have a hit when both 50s singles charted higher than him. Come on tell me
You said that so confidently too lol.
Get Up hit #44 and dropped off after 2 weeks.
Magnificent is currently #65 and has been on the chart for almost two months. When his album drops, it will go higher. Is that the stat you really want to hold onto?
number 65? lol, damn ross. i actually love that song too, its in my whip right now.

So what exactly is the criteria for judging this battle? Everyone seems to be judging it by something different.
Which ever 1 give Ross the win.

Is that the stat you really want to hold onto?magnificent got on the chart a few weeks ago and Get Up got to 23. And I Get It in with no promotion or video charted 36. Magnificent has been at 65 and will probably stay there. And once 50s album drops then his songs will chart higher. 50 hasn't promoted shot but still charted higher while Ross is all over the radio talking about his album. If he did kill 50 thn he'd have a hit and and be the most talked about rapper.

I'm judging it by who's releasing better music.
I'm a grown ass woman, i can care less about Rick Ross baby mama's. Thats TMZ/Mediatakeout Ho gossip shyt.
i get it in, get up, Shut ya bloodclat mouth, play this on the radio, etc was lackluster.
Deeper then Rap is tuff!
I agree on these two but the others were good IMO. You don't like "Tia Told Me". That track to me is > Backdown, maybe not in terms of impact but I would much rather listen to that. Ross releasing better music has little to do with 50, just like his record sales won't really reflect what happened in this battle. If BISD is better than Ross' album then but Ross releases the best diss track of all time then Ross will have won.

On ITUNES b! lol, we already established that most urban/hip hop/rnb fans DONT buy music off of itunes.
White ppl from the trailer park, suburbs, and wierd country states saw 3 big names, bought it, and then deleted that shyt. Flo Rida came in and knocked that shyt off the charts.
Just because Will Smith, Brad Pitt, and Bruce willis do a movie together doesn't mean its hot. Of course its going to shoot to number 1, but when ppl realize the movie SUCKS, they aren't going to support it anymore.

Straight to The bank was
ass actually Curtis was ass but still managed to sell
And that website. K that's dope it seems like all the air play ain't doing shot for the album. It hasn't moved in billboard and I never hear anyone say "yooo dat new rick Ross is dirty best song ever" so it's a
Waist on the radio. Plus look at that list. All garbage songs. But once he releases a better single and gets a hit like he did with I Get Money I wanna hear the haters talk ****

Tia told me is aight. Something about 50 seems watered down though. He doesn't have that original energy, hype, and aggression on his tracks.
50 just sounds like the same formula. lol, it seems like he's cut n pasting slighty modified lyrics on the same song over and over again.
ross lost. everything with him has always been about money and bein the boss and havin all this material sh!t. but NOW that's he beefin with a n!gga who literally has about 100 times more paper than him it's "f*ck money, i don't care about that sh!t. f*ck yo money, i'm real". lol.

Lets use 50's category:
"The general public is not supporting it." They tried to break those records on the radio stations, but it didn't work b.
Then been playing mayback music 2 and the song with foxy and Ross on hot 97 and power 105 lately.
I don't hear anything from fif or em on the radio.
You can also add Heartless Monster and Ill Be Your Shooter.
every single song he's released recently has been crack except that horrible horrible 1st diss he sent at Ross and that "get up" sh!t. "i get it in" is hot, i don't care where it is on the charts.

You cant say he is declining worst than 50 until those numbers come in. Ross never had a plat album tho. Anything over a 100,00 prob be a win for him.

Am I the only one that liked Get Up? It was a hype song similar to I Get Money in a way where the beat was hype. Get Up would have been more of a monster if 50 dropped the album around that time or pushed it more. That sh*t was #1 on 106 Da Park for weeks and was the theme song to the Brock Lesnar UFC fight

His 1st album didnt go platinum, it went gold. Trilla went Gold. And Magnificent is a hit...anytrack that is top 10 on national urban radio play is a hit. And niccas forget this is the 1st single. He got songs on the album that has potential to big huge singles. The next single is the track with The Dream and thats could easily be a hit, as well as the songs with Robin Thicke and Ne-Yo.
