Deeper than Rap is Ross's best album. It's a good album. But no classic. Maybe the leaked version isn't the retail version. Ross first album is overrated. Trilla is a good album too. Get Rich, classic if you ask me, Massacre, minus that Candy Shop bs and couple other commercial ass tracks, album was solid. Curtis wasn't even bad if you ask me. Just the launched of his first two singles was lukewarm. If I get money dropped first, 50 would of did better.

You're only as hot as your last record so I will agree that Ross is better as of RIGHT NOW, but if you wanna talk about careers, no. GRODT and The Massacre are better than Ross' first two albums and much of what I've heard from this one. I'll reserve further judgement until next week when I get Deeper than Rap.

GRODT is a "classic" becuz it was his first major release. i never really thought it was a good album lyrically. the production head it together. honestly i thought always thought Philly Freeway was the better album that yr.


Deeper Than Rap. from what i heard this morning is solid. but its kinda hard to get through certain tracks without the :weirdo: face on becuz you dont believe half the shyt he talkin' about. like i was listening to Rich Off Cocaine. as good as the track sounds i just cant buy into it even though i know it's just entertainment.


i was a firm believer that this beef would have no backlash but i could see this shyt easily doing some type of damage to Rick.

People have to realize that dudes look at 50 Cent on a higher level than Rick Ross to begin with, and him being East Coast, Affiliated with Dr. Dre, and releasing GRODT has a lot to do with that. But his mainstream musically career has not been good, and he's far from being amongst some of the best rappers in it.
