1st time you heard a "system" in a car.....

I was used to listening to rap music out of my boomboxes and maybe the home stereo when moms wasn't home. She wasn't having all the cussin going on in the house. My boy came over with 2 12's in a Probe, first I heard it all the way down the street. Then as he pulled up, the bass was beating so hard I coulda swore the pavement was vibrating. I got in the car and thought I would be deaf in a matter of months. Highs was so crystal clear, I think we were listening to Compton's Most Wanted Music To Driveby or BDP's Love Gonna Getcha. After that experience all I thought about was how to get that sound in my car.

my older brother had one, nothing crazy, i think it was 2 10's, a nice deck, and pair of components. i was all over that sh!t. when i got my first car i laced the fukk out of that thing. my system was bananas. oh those good ol days.

i had been hearing systems all my life all day and all hours of the night but the first time i sat and rode in a car with one was when i was a teenager....my guy had a box caprice with a wet ass paint job....2 12s....cant remember what they were but needless to say.....it was so powerful i swear it felt like everytime i inhaled and the bass hit i couldnt catch my breath....im slackin...i should have been hooked my car up

My first set up was 2 kicker 12's it had horns and tweets in it, that got jacked. Then I had 4 10's and my amps got stolen so I said fukk the world and got 4 15's. Shiit was so loud. I had them in a custom box like half octogon then in the middle I had my amps in a staircase kind of under glass. Those were the days. Then I went back to 2 12's. Now I just got a little 10" Kicker L7 solobaric, a little thump for me in the whip. Im old, I dont need people hearing me for blocks anymore. Sometimes when a whippersnapper pulls up with some knock I get a little :( though.

Man hell yea, back in the day I had 2 American Bass 12's, some 2-way coaxial front and rear and 2 amps. Used to roll around the block, bumping UGK, Too Short, anything that had bump to it. Shyt was loud as fukk too, had a cops/old people kill switch for the subs incase they rolled up preaching that sound ordinance shyt.
