is there a way to edit a poll or to delete a poll from a thread? and if not, is there any research being looked into in order to deal with that situation? I mean, if you can edit the thread, and the thread title, why can't you edit your poll or delete it or restart it? or did I miss something?

i understand what you're saying.. but it's just not an option for the way we have our vbulletin settings on this board. it never was, and it likely never will be.

You guys need to work on your customer service skills. I realize we don't pay a subscription to be able to post here, but it wouldn't hurt for you guys to actually cater to those of us that post here. Like just yesterday, my friend who subscribes to a dj pool site, he was complaining about the fact that the filenames on the songs aren't labelled right. he emailed them about having spend time renaming ALL the songs from the site, and the guy said "will do". with you guys, it's like your dictators so even if EVERYONE wanted something implemented (like not editing curse words), you guys will sooner deny our request then to comply, even if it's not exactly what we ask for, but something reasonable that could satisfy both parties would be appropriate.

anyhow, I'm just expressing my displeasure, but I understand. Why should you guys spend time editing the code to suit us, when it's just easier to say "no". BTW, If this IS just a template you guys are using (which I think it is), why not put forward the request to the people that did the code for you? it CAN be done (creating an option to edit or delete a poll, I'm sure it's not a simple solution, but even I can brainstorm how the code would look). Then you could have responded to me simply saying, "unfortunately no such option exists at this moment, but we'll look into it for the future". Just some customer service 101.
