About to do a 2" drop on my Civic with just Skunk2 lowering springs, can't afford coilovers. I'm hoping the stock shocks hold up and ride isn't like a delivery truck. Anyways, who else has dropped they ride and how much? What hardware did you go with.

Lowered my GTI by more or less 3 inches.

I used Tokico shocks and springs for my car. They're cheap and decent, but I mainly did it for looks. If I was dropping cash and wanted higher quality, I'd go w/ Bilstein Coilovers or something alike.

I would recommend that you save up and do it right the first time if you can't do coils do racing springs and shock combo.

With that being said I have coilovers on my jetta down to about 2.5in.
'tis low.

I laugh every time I still see the random Honda w/ cut springs bouncing all over the place.

my nsx is about 1.5-2 inches off the ground on Teins, still had to cut a couple coils off, im gonna get some coilovers soon though...

How bout a nice Comptech Supercharger?
Blown NSXs are sweet as hell & can run with or over M5's & M6's.

Nah I wanna keep it N/A as far as performance all I did was cold air, comptech exhaust and test pipes...reliability ftw!

I don't blame you. Even that set up is perfect for some good gains.
