his album Before I Self Destruct was to suppose be released back in Febuary (4th) of last year then March (of 2008) since he had Curtis being pushed up for the release date in September of 2007.

then after that, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks said in an interview that it was going to be released in the fourth quarter of 2008. 50 follows up on that and says it's going to be released December 9th, 2008.

we all know what happened after that. he released two singles; both (one having a high priced video to go along with it and the other one being a SINGLE PRODUCED by DR. DRE) dropped and flopped and the album was confirmed by 50 to be pushed back again to Febuary 3rd and then a little while after that it was pushed back once again to March 24th.


lmao at 50 taking Em's "comeback" single after his (50's) first two singles for his Before I Self Destruct album flops and Em's Crack a Bottle single broke the first week digital sales record with 418,000 downloads. now because the single outside of downloads has created any buzz the album has been pushed back AGAIN (how many times? lol) and Em's album is on the way. the only reason that is, is because 50 knows he can't sell off of his name and old antics anymore and just wants to make sure he can ride the coat-tails of Eminem and then maybe Dr. Dre so that he can have a chance at actually selling a decent amount.

for real to me he is being smart. how many times did lil wayne push back his album? he realizes his songs are not hot right now. so fall back allow em to drop and use his momentum to release ur album. he knows if this album flops his relevance in hip hop is pretty much done. sometimes u need to fall back. this nikka been putting sh1t out non-stop since 03.
