I've been sitting around waiting to kick this demon
He's been around here kicking and screaming
I toss and turn trying to pretend I'm sleeping
I just can't believe..
Every night I protest to Jesus
Does he hear my calls?
Or are my cries blocked by the gates of almighty heaven
because in religion I see nothing but bias in men
and still do not hear your call even though they say your in
I lay here as blind as they day you gave me birth
I fear that the more I've strayed the longer you stayed
waiting and wishing crying and dismissing
I slowly slip
I slowly fall
The habits been repeated
You claim you need it but you don't need it at all
Be patient, embrace and stall..
quiet the fall, quiet them all
Recognize that found deep within these demons
Grows a thing worthy of treason
Don't be ignorant to gods good reasons
That every soul should be free
and every conscious can speak
