For real. It snowed like a week or 2 ago, not even an inch on the ground but it was enough for the sh!tty ass tires to slip and I was on the highway ridin down 295 and slipped off the side of the road and into a ditch.

I got everything with that straight, and I was hoping it wouldnt snow anymore this year but a few minutes ago I couldnt even drive on my own street without slipping again and crashing my sh!t into a street pole, I left my car parked there and let it sit for awhile ...I'll salt down my whole street if I have to, to get back out the house

the moral of the story is, if you live in a northeast region and you got any kind of rims on ya car with the real thin tires, or anywhere it snows ..word of advice: take them sh!ts off the first week of december and go back to the stock tires

I was warned, but I didnt listen ..now I know :(

i was scared for the salt too, the salt didnt really eat up my chrome though ...i went a whole month in december without cleaning that sh!t and it snowed a few times too ..when i cleaned it one day it was lookin brand new again

that was the main reason i even considered taking them off because the people at the shop were telling me the salt are going to eat up the chrome, but i rolled my dice ..i was feelin good for awhile until i learned the hard way how terrible the tires are

im scared to go back out there tonight

Yea, I learned back in Nov. of last year, we got a bad 1st snowstorm here in Cleveland. I still had my rims on, 215/40/17's are NO good in the snow. Best believe I was late for work that day, back at the crib in the garage putting the stock stuff back on......

my car got the stock alloy rims on it, but I already cracked one on a pothole this winter. I got it fixed for $70, which was better than paying $300 for a new one.
