View Full Version : FL export track question
Quick question, if I made a beat in FL and want to export all the tracks sequentially in the same order as they are in the FL sequencer (and playlist) in order to mix and master in pro tools (on a pc that has no FL installed), whats the best way to do it ? or is there even a way to do it ?

i think you have to put it on pattern mode instead of song mode, put each instrument in its own pattern, and export a pattern at a time. Pretty sure, peace keep rising

Export the way you normally would, but under options click the box that says "Export Mixer Tracks."

yo thirty3, i never knew that. I just did that but it still exported the whole song, i know this is a stupid ? but i don't know, is what your talking about with the export mixer tracks, mine says split, but is it the same as i'm talking about, but just with the mixer effects added from fl. Again i know i'm probably asking the obvious but wanna make sure.

oh right, you'd have to send each track to the FL's mixer first. silly me. thanks.

you basically have to send each track to the mixer track in the mixer window. then if you check the "split mixer tracks" it will split them (with the effects) into bunch of wav/mp3 files, including the master track.
N0 Thanks

if you haven't laid everything out properly, the easiest way to do it would be to just mute all the instruments but one, export to .wav name it 'kick', then mute everything but the next piece, export to .wav and name 'snare'. Continue until you have singled out each piece.
