What's better?
Even tho I hate getting up early I'm bout to switch to morning workouts.
I need that energy boost throughout the day. Plus too much stuff comes up later in the day. And since I work a 8-5 I cant workout in the afternoon.
The damn gym was so crowded today after work I said fukkit and cancelled my membership. :smh:

ive done both for a long time and for me it seems im stronger in the AM, which allows me to workout harder. When i worked out in the evening it was hard for me to channel my focus on working out because so much stuff happened already for the day to kill my motivation. In the morning it was like, yawn , aiight let me go kill the weights.

See, my problem is that I work Night Shifts  so everything is pretty much reversed in my case. Ive tried working out after work (in the AM) and it actually gave me such a boost that I would be having a lot of trouble falling asleep afterwards.
My problem with working out after waking up is 2 things : Eating/Time Restraint and Motivation. I like to hit the snooze button, so sometimes, I drag out my sleep a bit too much. Therefore, I run out of time to eat, digest and then work out. And when i work out on an empty stomach, i feel much weaker. So this kind of comes into play with my consistency.
In a normal situation, yeah, Wake Up workouts are usually better imo.

Depends who you are and your lifestyle, In Ocho Seis case he prefers night workouts as the perfect way to end the day and because your all tired out it leads to a good night sleep which has you refreshed in the morning try both and see what works for you

I do both, but it seems I procrastinate and my workouts end up being at 12am-2am, lol
I have all my equipment at home too, smh
Even though I HATE waking up earlier and am not, in the least, a morning person...I prefer morning workouts. When I get home from work (around 7:00 p.m.) I'm am starving so I eat right away and can't work out for at least an hour after I eat...then I always end up procrastinating and finally get to the gym after 10:00 p.m. Then once I get home from the gym (usually midnight) I have to shower and it's hard for me to get to sleep because I'm all amped.
The problem with working out in the morning (for me) other than waking up earlier is that even after I shower and drink a shyt load of watever (after my work out) I am still sweaty until like 10:00 a.m. It's fukkin annoying and gross... :(
I would never be able to get up and workout before I went to work. I barely get to work on time as it is. But either way I feel stronger later in the day. It makes sense to me since you been eating the whole day for energy. I'd probably be weaker lifting in the morning.

I've heard that aerobics are better i nthe morning bc it gives u more energy for the day, and anaerobic excercises are better before you go to sleep bc your muscles can recover faster when you're sleep since you're not using them as much while you're sleep.
never tried either, though. I usually work out around 6 pm

Unless you're going to a specific exercise class, my gym is hell in the evenings. I never feel like I'm getting my maximum workout b/c I the gym is so packed and people are on your heels waiting for equipment.

I started working out in the mornings and even tho I have to get up at 5 it works out waaaaaaaay better.
I got workout equipment at my crib so I can take a shower directly afterward then head to work. Plus when I come home I can just chill.

Mornings are always better. I lift more, but my stamina is lower. Evenings are harder and I have to focus more and will my way through the workout, but my stamina feels great. But my body feels better in the morning after a evening workout. Damn, I just realized that my body is very moody. LOL

I would always much rather work out late at night or early in the morning, not a fan of middle of the day.

my schedule always is changing. my girl has grad school in the evenings on mon and tue this semester, so I have to work out in the middle of the day during work those days. on sundays, i usually work out in the afternoon by running in the park. on wed and thursdays, I typically work out after work in the evenings cuz i have more time. once we start getting more daylight in the morning, i'll go back to working out early in the morning around 5:30 or so tho. personally I prefer doing it in the mornings, but I hate getting up, so its always a conflict.
