Yo I read both these books and I had a much better understanding of how people feel over in those countries...It really took me into their world vividly and unforgettably. Two of the best books I have ever read in my life 4real

Read (and loved) both. A Thousand Splendid Suns was really powerful to me though...I damn near cried a few times. Hosseini is a fantastic writer.
