Mileage: 53,000 miles
I'll be trading in my current truck
2002 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Xtra Cab
Mileage: 105,000 miles
KBB price: $5350 (good condition) - $4550 (fair condition)
Anything I should know about this Escalade before I buy it?
And what kind of deals should I be expecting in negotiation? I'm planning on downpaying about 4Gs and trading in my truck. What kind of value should I expect for trade in from a private medium sized dealer?

so you will have about a $9500 down payment when its all said and done. thats a good thing. so ur only gonna hvae to borrow another 9 grand. you could pay this car off in 24 months with like a $430 a month payment. if u switch it to 36 months ur looking at a little under $300 for the payment.

as for the escalade. is it worth it to have a car thats 2 years newer and be making payments on it for the next 2 to 3 years on a vehicle with similar mileage to what u have? thats up to you to decide. also, its a recession, and a buyer's market. make sure they give u the deal u want, or u can walk. im sure with ur 4 G's and trade in, u can get any dealership in town to sell u a car.
