looking on cars.com theres a ton of CLK's 03-05 in the 20-23k range with 30k-60k miles
is there some serious problems with them or something? or is the economy to blame? (live in north jersey)

DON'T DO IT!!! There are TONS of problems with these cars. Or if you do have to get one, make sure you get a warranty up to at least 100k miles. Good luck.

Yup. Worst years of Mercedes EVER, IMO. Those were the years they started business w/ Chrysler. Their reliability and maintenance took a big sh*t that's why those values are the way they are.

They started with Chrysler in '99. Had Chrysler had nothing to do with those Benzes turning to sh*t. Mercedes tried to make their cars lighter and cheaper(which actually worked) but took some hits in quality and what little reliability they had in the first place.

They started parts bin sharing and the whole nine. They shared production ideas w/ Chrsyler all the time during that relationship.

I had an '02 AMG and honestly man, I couldn't even list the amount of shyt that was wrong with that car. shyt that couldn't be fixed, "I'm sorry sir, we just don't know what's wrong with it...." was their favorite line.

acura dealerships don't certify any other cars than acura's. if u want it certified, u better get it from a benz dealership. either that, or u can buy the warranty from the benz dealership as well. thats always an option. maybe u can haggle the price for that warranty.
like everyone said lots of problems(all benz's) the clk 500 is cool 05+ and you can find them for cheap

infiniti's tend to be a grip (if your speaking about g35's and such). the ones that come with the brembo breaks are a b!tch to have serviced and replaced, they tend to consume a lot of gas and alot become victims to electrical problems(common Nissan motif). if your going infiniti or nissan, go 350z.

Yo never cop used high end cars. The markup is ridiculous especially since they prolly drove the car like sh!t the whole time they had it.. thinkin; "I'ma get a new car in two years when my lease is up"
