My friend has always had a talent for drawing. For years he's been drawing but not I suggested we make some t-shirts so recently I helped him fix it up in Photoshop and get it ready to be printed. We finally got some printed and have been selling them around some school campuses. I'll post some designs and hopefully you guys can tell us whether you like it or not, but be honest.

Its not wack but its not something I would buy ya dig. Its been done before think outside the box a lil bit. Like do a polo esque shirt instead of a t shirt.

I feel ya, for a first release we tried to stick with some basic designs on just t shirts. If we make more money then we will probably go for more articles of clothing. Thanks for the advice.

wilde the problem is EVERYBODY is doing what you doing. Clothing line is for someone who has a sense of style and fashion. I am an artist too on the low of course but if i was making a line i wouldnt combine the 2. Simple is better...you cant expect someone to buy a shirt just b/c of the art on the front..the entire shirt has to be art and well though out.

art doesnt always mean art work on the front or back its the shape of the design...whats on the shirt...how it fit...what the shirt is saying dig me....i see what u saying but who cant do screen print.

Yeah we already got an interview scheduled with Macy's.


Obviously the artwork needs to be good to sell. I know you can just screen print onto a shirt but this has had more work and creativeness than just screen printing any old design.

i've got a great idea for you. here in south florida we have a store named Delia's who would definitely market a shirt like this. they sell a lot of screen printed t's. maybe you would like to set up an interview with them to see if they would like to help market your line?
