Damn thats REAALLY hard.....unless dude is on steroids.....I mean i think the normal is about 10 to 20 pds max in the offseason (from Feb-June)....
this is dope! Good lookin out...
I'ma be on the practice squad by fall of '10!
their diet is for someone with a very active lifestyle. 60% of food from carbs and 4000 calorie intake. If you don't move as much as them, you'll get fat fast.

That was just an outline of a 4500 diet.
Regardless, if you're a 6'5" 289lbs baller ya caloric intake gonna be up there lol
Very interesting...but...there were no manuals from winning teams? I'm just sayin'...

*finishes reading*
The manual is promoting decreasing the weight as you go through sets, sticking to the question "Why use (insert weight) on set number one, if you were able to use (insert higher weight) on the third set?"
They lift using maximum effort on the first set.
They're making a point saying it's a priority to eliminate non productive exercise and once you have warmed up, why perform a set that is not designed to increase or maintain your current level of strength?
The example of a multiple set exercise is as follows:
Set # 1 - 140 lbs. x 8 reps
Set # 2 - 120 lbs. x 8 reps
Set # 3 - 95 lbs. x 8 reps
This is using maximum effort per set.
What's your take on that Diggy? I mean, the way they explain it sounds good in theory but may not be so in practice.
This is on page 53 and 54, btw.

Honestly, I dont know what their reasoning is. Sometimes after a max output you cant maintain that same output so they may be decreasing weight due to muscle fatigue with a certain formula they have.
I dont lift that way, I try to keep the weight constant. Ill drop weight by a few lbs if I cant hit my rep range Im looking for on the followings set.
Try it out, maybe its solid stuff they have printed. I really didnt read thru the whole thing since Im on another program right now
