My boys at work were talking about this stuff. I currently take Labrada's Lean Body Meal Replacement after workouts. They were telling me that there's some fat burning ingredients in this Pro-Nos business. Is it worth taking along with the Labrada? Let me know, y'all.

Save your money man, more supplement company hype.

Post workout you normally want a fast digesting protein/carb combo

like whey protein and waxy maize for example

I use mrps in between meals or for breakfast mostly if anything, not so much post workout. It probably will save you money to buy a bag or tub of whey and mix it with some fruit or something

But yo, you know what I'm talking about when I refer to my Labrada Meal Replacement, right? It's 40G of protein and about 320 calories. Is it cool, in your opinion, to continue to take this after a work out or do you suggest like around 4:00 p.m. (btwn lunch and dinner)?

And that Whey you think I should take that, instead?

Forgive me, I'm just getting put on to all this stuff. I'm busting my phuckin ass in the gym so I figured I'd might as well help myself in the kitchen as well.

What time do you workout..the Morning? If so thats a good time to take the shake between lunch and dinner. I used Lean Body shakes, regular, low carb and the breakfast versions.

Optimum Whey is good, EAS also sells a whey for 30 bucks at sams for 5lbs. Doing this will save you alot of money because you can get more for your money this way. You could always replace lean body with whole food and still get post workout benefits if you wanted. 10lb bag of optimum is like 140 servings and on 2 scoops u get half of that. 24 grams of protein per scoop.

320 cals isnt alot of cals if thats what you are making the face at

he could drink 6 and be under 2k cals for the day

My meals were usually 600+ cals up to 800 on bulks

I know its not a lot in general, but I didn't see where he said he was on a bulk. It sounded to me as if he was just taking a regular post-workout protein, if that was the case, that's what the face was for.

I have been working out at night the past two weeks...but before the holidays was working out in the morning. It's prolly better to work out in the morning, right? I just feel stronger at night though. The reason I'm taking the Lean Body is cuz of that whole, "The body needs protein after a workout" business, ya dig? If I worked out in the morning don't I need protein asap? like within 2 - 3 hours? I'm not really a dude who makes breakfast so all that omelette shyt is out the window for me.

I'm almost done with my box of Lean Body (for the record - I only pay like $37.95 for a case of twenty so it ain't that expensive). So I'm finna re-up in the next two weeks or so...you think I should ride with that whay?

You should have protein post workout morning or night. I was just trying to figure out your workout sched to figure out your eating schedule.

30-40 bucks = 90+ servings of whey...you are wasting money if you are using Labrada post workout..whey is a far more economical choice for this purpose.

Post your gym/eating routine if you dont mind

You eat one less meal on morning workout day I see? I dunno how/why you workout on an empty stomach. Upon waking you should eat, have shake on morning workout day, then post workout you could have the whey if you wanted. I use to use the leanbody shakes to fill in voids like you do.

I use to have a packet of wight control oatmeal and scoop or 2 of whey then hit gym. It wasnt too heavy

No cereal or outmeal, nothing like that though...I'ma half awake so something simple like fruit cuz I ain't trying to lose muscle while I run (I run after I lift, btw).
