I agree with illstrick, the bass and the hits sound out of tune. I like the direction of the beat, it just sounds kind of empty to me the way it is now.

ok***listening*** the sounds are off tune..theres a humming noise or a string or possibly a horn thats kinda throwin me off.. the sample and the drums are good. jus add like a triangle, shaker, a hi hat sparingly, and an analog crash..maybe a few analog toms to highlight the track..this could be a smash if u organize it right..a sprinkle piano wit reverb would fit right..maybe if u sent me the track i could demonstrate what i mean.. actually a loops wit jus the sample and the drums nothin else..

Besides what's already been said... add a bassline, EQ the drums so that they knock more. It's got potential so I might jack the sample...
