I don't think Crooks is anything special but their gear is pricier than Play Cloths.... Their jeans retail for $160....crews for $100-120, t's for $40. You'd be dumb to pay retail but a lot of folk do.

to me they fell off a bit, but have come back strong with the fall/winter gear. Quality stuff...the graphics don't fade or crack like other streetwear brands *cough* Orisue *cough*
