Jaguar XF: Looks better than a BMW or a Mercedes

The strut-like grille and the hood scoops make the Jag look much better than the BMW 3-Series and the Mercedes C-Class sedans. The 2010 model looks like an improvement.

They say that the XF is replacing the S-Type, and I feel that they picked the right car to choose. Remember: I'm talking about style here. Performance wise, though, the base XF has more horsepower than the base S-Type; an improvement, speed wise.

They've made the hood from the '09 model improved.

Between the XF, C-Class & 3-Series, I'd go with the Jaguar brand, but the cost might be one of those important factors. 46.4 base price for the XF, while the C-Class is 32.9 and the 3-Series is 33.4 thousand dollars.

C-Class is the most affordable, but for the extra money, is the appearance of the Jaguar XF worth it??

if you're just talkin about the grille or using it as a large factor in the equation, no. you can get a Bentley/electric shaver/etc after market grille thrown on just about anything.

The 5 Series is 42.8, with 230 HP. The Jag has 70 more horses. The E Class hold 268 horses and prices at 53.2.

With that being said, the XF looks like the best car, unless you're looking for MPG, and the 5 Series would win there (18/28).

I can see the Mercedes grille being replaced, but how would you go about replacing a BMW grille?? Even if you could find one that looks like the XF's Strut-inspired grille, the BMW uses a type of separator in the middle, which IMO, takes away from it.

cant believe it only has 230 w.e car ways a ton i have driven a 530i and the 545 with the v8

if the jag has 70 more horse compare it to the bi turbo 535 or 550 with the v8

I thought it looked nice in pictures till I saw one on the freeway a couple months back. Definitely looked better in person, they absolutely nailed the design of this car. This is the probably the only thing Ford did right w/ Jag before they sold it off.
