They lie to me
What they try to be
Is a sight for sore eyes to see
An illusion to get an intrusion inside of me
Hearts turn cold when broken
Or left open
The scope of whats spoken
When you find out, you was just a token
Just a puppet..
A mere instrument
Bein strum along
Thats why you hit Rock bottom
& sing the same ol' songs
Bout how they did you wrong
And how you would of died for them
But to get that in return? would be a lie for them
Most just want to be in a postion to succeed
Then quick to throw you away, when they no longer need
Now they not hungry sohh they bite the hand that feeds
Which makes you wanna grieve cuz pain & dispair supersedes
And all the beliefs that you had just sorta leaves
At that point animosity is achieved
All the good deeds you done then get overlooked
"What have you done for me lately" auda be the hook
I'd rather read the book on seein thru deceit
Or how to deal with fake people & still land on your feet
Feelin like a funeral, I want a tribunal
Yet tryin is still futile, the lies are too crucial
The people you use to know, you dont know them like you use to
I wish I would have known cuz that knowledge would've been useful
My moms always tells me those people are just youthful
Lookin @ the situation that explanation is doo doo
