View Full Version : Took a Ferrari 360 on a road trip...

...and found it to be a pretty good car. I don't think it lived up to all of the hype that everyone puts on it though.

It gets an ass-load of attention...from everyone. Little kids in backseats jumping to look, people pulling out cameraphones and sh*t, not my style.

The engine sounds ridiculous and its pretty quick up top but you gotta wind it out like an S2000. The revs drop extremely fast, almost racecar like. The best part of the car was the steering and brakes. Way superior to my 'Vette but thats to be expected. The car just seems wired to all of your inputs.

The down side was that car never settles down on the highway. It's always buggin' out, wanting to go 180mph. The interior wasn't much to talk about either. People put too much importance on those in sportscars though. I'd have to get it out on a racetrack to really find out what the car is about.

I also drove a Flying Spur which was nice too. You aren't missing too much though if you driven the newer big luxury sedans except for some materials and high-speed stability.

Too rich for my blood at this point in my life. Wouldn't mind having either in the garage though.

Damn good ****... my dream car's the Stradale, I guess Imma have to keep the Honda for long trips
