Man I love my country, can't stand some of the people that's in it
The clowns on the Hill in the House and the Senate
The amount that we spendin on the war is appallin
Marine corps is all in, reporters is fallin
This sport we enthralled in is ideological warfare
Forbear tryna establish rapport there
It's more clear to me now that I'm older
Black gold sold in barrels taken from its beholder
As our souls grow colder the desert is hot
In camouflage let the ammo lodge and measure a shot
Afghanistan to Pakistan and back to Iraq
We playin police, no justice, no peace
Injustice won't cease, innate to the globe
When we encounter aliens its in our nature to probe
Check the Espionage Act, step your history game up
The Rosenbergs, a mystery frame up
We came up, but we've become that from which
We were desperate to escape, rapists, pillagers, apes
While the villagers scrape and claw to see the sun rise
An American son dies every time a gun cries

(Chorus)
Violate our own doctrines, hate is so locked in
OUr state's frame of mind, diplomatic cock blockin
Automatics not cockin minus state approval
So we sit agitated and await removal
Violate our own doctrines, hate is so locked in
Our state's frame of mind, diplomatic cock blockin
How the f*ck is stocks droppin in a state of war?
Clock keeps tick-tockin as the death rates soar

This presidential era — Bushgate — that's how I'm phasin it
This presidential pair a mistake, that's how I'm phrasin it
I'm purple hazin it, like Jimmy Hendrix
On some Star Spangled Banner sh*t, spittin what the pen drips
Fixed on an appendage, on the idiot box
The city it rocks, the video stops
A idiot talks, a play-by-play of the slaughter
So Joe the Plumber thinks they tryna prey on his daughter
While we started the conflict
Contradiction and misjurisdiction cause international friction
I'm spittin malediction, so in the future
I'm examinin the stitches, rippin out the sutures
Exploitin these wack jobs' patchwork patch jobs
That kept jewelry on their wives and pools in their backyards
Troops stack cards just to pass the time
They so asinine, more than half the time
They go way too far and take it past the line
The people always last in line, I cast a line
Fishin for politicians cuz these bastards lyin
And when I catch one I'll load a clip and blast the nine

(Chorus)

Man, it's not about Republicans, Democrats, Independents
I spit it for the the Iraqi tryna save his descendants
Through the gravest of winters, only hopin for spring
His house caves in and splinters, he tryna cope with the sting
Of the round that just caught him, they surrounded and shot him
Left him bound and forgot him, for the bounty to spot him
Looked for his family through the summer finally found 'em in autumn
Their wounds heal fast, up until the tear gas
Leaves 'em incapacitated but hear severe blasts
Through the thick smoke there appears a clear pass
But before they say psalms they sprayed wit napalm
The frays on, they lay takin grenade bombs
I stay calm, while the Arabs is foragin
My Italian last name is of Arabic origin
So I feel for 'em, occupiers to occupied
It's come full circle for me, while I mock surprise
I'm not surprised, we been after Iraq's demise
Since the first embargo where we tried to block supplies
We swat the flies, killin all these pesky little peasants
We a pestilence, the desert is infested with our presence

(Chorus)

this was real nice.

after reading several of your threads on here, you seem to touch an a diverse set of issues, which is always a good thing.

the flow and delivery in the last verse (my favorite verse) was sick. overall, excellent work.

i'm a political junkie so i loved this.
