I'm a few pounds heavier than I'd like to be, so I'm looking to drop about 5-8 lbs and keep it off.

Does anyone have any quick tips and pointers regarding diet/ lifestyle/ excercise? I'm open to anything.

I've already cut soda consumption drastically and noticed I'm a few pounds lighter.

I've never had this problem, but I'd say drugs are the answer. Ephedrine, that sort of thing, I've found it impossible to gain weight when I take any sort of stimulant.

Not for me.... Definitely not for me (related to past experiences).

I'd be open to taking a natural supplement though.

Cut your sodium back, eat complex carbs rather than simple ones. Try to eat as clean as you can, do cardio and lift weights intensly.

Truthfully my diet is shameful. Tons of fast food, though I've cut back on soda. Lots of snack, lots of crap.

My dinners are usually healthy but I tend to eat lunch out a few times a week. Lots of cheeses and relatively fatty stuff, not enough fruits and vegetables (I'll be the first to admit this). Drinks are mostly juices and flavored waters. To my credit, I don't consume much beer... just a few drinks socially on the weekends. For what it's worth, I take cod liver oil and Vitamin C.

After the holidays, as in next week, I'm gonna try to completely restructure my diet. Any suggestions?
