YES! Co-****in-sign. The Replacements outdid themselves with Tim. Let it Be had only two good songs on it (I Will Dare and Sixteen Blue) vs. Tim which had two classics (Bastards of Young and Left of the Dial), one great novelty song (Waitress in the Sky), one poignant ballad (Here Comes a Regular), and one great feel-good rocker (I'll Buy). Even the filler was better. Compare Lay it Down Clown to Gary's Got a Boner.
I can't understand why people rate Let it Be as better than Tim.
I have to admit though, Pleased to Meet Me holds a special place in my heart, as it was the first 'Mats album I bought. IOU rocked. Alex Chilton rocked. Even I Don't Know rocked. Red Red Wine has to be one of the best dumb rock songs I've heard. And of course, Can't Hardly Wait is one of the most heartfelt songs ever commited to cd.
But yeah, Tim is without a doubt better than Let It Be.
Glad there is another Replacements fan here. Criminally underrated band.
