I usually buy just basketball shoes (jordans, etc) but im getting tired of just those. I peeped the sneaker thread and I saw alot of sneakers that I liked. So just a couple questions I had for yall..Are those sneaker boutique stores a little cheaper than stores like foot locker and I also was wondering coppin some off of ebay

quick info
ebay = lots fakes
"sneaker boutiques" = expensive
a lot of those kicks are rare and expensive

Sneaker boutiques are always over market price.
Ebay or on forums like SoleCollector/Niketalk/NikeSkateBoarding are the best place to find rarer more expensive kicks at fair market price
There are some online shops where you can find some of the less rarer kicks, sometimes at prices cheaper than even Footlocker. ShoeTrends, Sneakerhead, PickYourShoes, SneakerDoctor
If you want an idea of the higher, jacked up consignment prices, check FlightClub or Napsize

oh you gotta hit up Ubiq (http://www.ubiqlife.com/Default.aspx), its the ish for kicks and such
its at 15th and Walnut and they also have one at the Gallery
there's also Kicks USA in the Gallery and a bunch of them on South Street
If you're not inot sneakers I would suggest against buying them from ebay. There are way too many fakes. If the price is too good to be true then guess what? FAKE!

there are some legit ebay stores for sure. ID4Shoes is legit and I've personally copped from them.
I'm not much of a sneaker dude; when I was younger I was. Right now, I have one pair of white Air Force 1's that I wear with jeans. I did ask my wife for a pair of Mauri sneakers for Xmas. Other than that, it's mostly alligator, ostrich, and iguana. I shop at City Slicker. (all my Detroiters know about City Slicker)

just check their feedback and its great, 99.9% which is rare for someone with over 16k feedback

Only problem with that is that Ebay shops like ID4Shoes, 4Kickz and Kixpress are that their prices are always a good 15+% higher. Plus they're almost always located overseas which means rape shipping

That's what I thought..I got GOT by an ebayer who had 5K transactions and 99.9% feedback.. Sold me some fake SB's.
