not sure if u guys if u have trusted sources. one question. when ur looking to buy these, if they are claimed to be "new", are these just modern replications or are they actually from the original production? also, if u do get modern replications, do you know of retailers that make very good quality shoes or should you just stick to going after the ones that someone just kept in a box for 15 yrs w/o wearing them?
years/brands im looking for specifically
nike air huarache high top (blk/wht), http://www.deadstocked.com/shoes/679083001.htm
jordan IV, http://www.soleredemption.com/pics/2006/05/FIREREDIV.jpg or http://www.soleredemption.com/pics/2006/05/MILITARYIV1.jpg
let me know your trusted sources
for what it's worth, you couldn't rock an original model anymore... they would basically fall apart on your feet after a couple wears
oh and eBay has whatever you want, just be extra cautious about fakes and counterfeits

i got the DMP XIII's off ebay... and y'all know that the jordan XIII's are one of the most counterfeited shoes
but what i got was legit. i paid a good price for them, not too much or too little but the product was 100% real.
i trust the pictures and the guy's feedback was 100% and everybody said he was legit.
i got in some bullsh1t with paypal, my address wasn't confirmed and the guy didnt wanna send em out. i gave dude my number and told him to call me straight up and he trusted me after we talked on the phone.
so it worked out for me...
and if your looking for old nikes i think you'll be good for the most part. new jordans are counterfeited often... and fake "retros"... but if you see an old pair of obscure huaraches they're usually legit

I've bought about 8 shoes from ebay (Js, nikes, and adidas) never got fakes just pay attention to the pics and feedback. but like big jo said you prolly won't have to worry about fakes on older shoes

You shouldn't get stuck with fakes from Ebay if you're smart about it. Do a little research (check the sellers feedback, item history and other items for sale)
Also look for tagged pics if have doubts. If you can't tell a real pair from fake, then post up the pics on here or NT or ISS for answers.
Legit sites though:
Napsize
ShoeTrends (decent selection, low prices)
FlightClub (high prices)
PickYourShoes
In regards to old shoes, make sure they are wearable before copping if possible. For example, if you're looking at some old Jordan IVs (Mars IVs and Miliary IVs were retroed recently, so just cop those), they can not be deadstock, i.e. kept in a closet for 15 years unworn. They almost always have to have been worn.
