Man you know the type, the dudes who will hate anything and everything because its popular. So they listen to their own little thing to make them feel cool. FOB is a great band with an amazing library and this album just adds to it.

Most bands who are worth listening to, and most people who have ventured far enough off the beaten path in terms of music, rate Nickleback pretty low on the spectrum of artistic merit. And I agree with them. Their music is generic, dumbed down cock-rock, pre-packaged and shipped off to people who would like the classic-rock that so influences Nickeback, but posess insufficient wherewithal do dig deep into the musical archives. I don't hate on Nickleback because they are popular. Modest Mouse is popular. The Whigs are fairly well known. The Strokes were pretty good. I like all three. Nickleback is just recycled, regurgitated garbage.

And I have not met one person outside of this board who will admit to liking Nickleback. Now I know who actually goes out and buys their albums.
