Basically crossfit incorporates explosiveness into weight training. You do some olympic style lifts such as snatches or cleans at high intensity as fast as you can. I gained 10 to 15 pounds of muscle and toned up considerably coupled with the use of Nitro-Tech in roughly two months. I have witnessed many a muthufukka throw up because they ain't built for it, so proceed with caution!
