Schedule #1:
(For each body part I'm doing THREE sets for each exercise)

Mon: Arms (Bi's, Tri's), Shoulders, Abs, Cardio
Tue: Chest, Back, Abs, Cardio
Wed: Cardio, Legs, Abs, Cardio
Thur: Arms (Bi's, Tri's), Shoulders, Abs, Cardio
Fri: Chest, Back, Abs, Cardio
Sat: Cardio, Legs, Abs, Cardio
Sun: Rest

OR

Schedule #2:
(For each body part I'm doing FOUR sets for each exercise)

Mon: Cardio, Chest, Abs, Cardio
Tue: Cardio, Back, Abs, Cardio
Wed: Cardio, Shoulders, Abs, Cardio
Thur: Cardio, Arms (Bi's & Tri's), Abs, Cardio
Fri: Cardio, Legs, Abs, Cardio
Sat: Rest
Sun: Rest

For Schedule #1 I'm doing each body part twice (three sets per exercise) a week but less cardio and only one day of rest. Schedule #2 I'm doing more cardio but only one body part a week (four sets per exercise).

My goals...I'm in between a size 42" & 44" waist and want to get down to a size 36" or 38" (I'm 6'1")...so I know that a lot more cardio is a good thing. I just want to see what y'all think is the best.

You should consider having those rest in between two work-out days to allow better time for recovery.

if you're goal is to cut and lose more weight... no days off.

I don't mind the routines, just keep the weights light and more reps.

Cardio everyday is vitally essential.

I'm trying to tone down even moreso, so i'll push myself to go to the gym (you can get real lazy on the weekend, but if you're too tired, take a nap, hit the fitness center and stream out a regimen that's light, at least you'll feel like you're burning calories, even if it's stemming from a moderate exercise).

But we're no experts.

Try them both and see what gives you gooder results.

Best of luck.

#2

Save cardio for after lifting, and double the intensity.
No need to do abs every day, you can cut it to 2 times a week.
Instead of doing abs every day, spend that extra time on neglected parts like forearms, calves, and rotator cuffs.

I'd go one day (or two at the most) then rest.

So, I ran twice today...before work and then when I went to do some lifting...so i'm going to try and do more running and go with routine #2.
