what are you thinking? i mean, why woud you do this?

a low carb, high protein diet is the way to go. then you supplement with healthy fats in order to meet your daily caloric needs.

wow.... these people who do "alternative medicine" should be banned from givin out any kind of medical advice. Why am I  cause in medicine we are regulated by the medical council etc people like them do not have medical degrees and are just spewin potentially harmful trash. heres the problem with the diet you wanna try out, some physiology on the way if you dont give a damn scroll down and jump to why not to do this..

carbohydrates are a source of energy that the body can utilize quickly, works by converting it to glucose (most important fuel molecule in your body) which every cell in your body needs for its energy demands especially your brain. now when you are on this retarded diet you are cuttin out the BIGGEST energy source for your brain (glucose). your body is forced to break down fatty acids which produces ketone bodies along with it (too much = not good).

so you may start think "dumbass you just said it breaks down fat thats what i want!" incorrect logic, the fat waste products builds in your blood and side effects are tiredness, unable to concentrate on tasks, generally feelin drained of energy. You are depriving your brain of glucose that it uses readily and thus it has to rely on the back up fuel (ketones) which can only last a little while until side effects kick in. Now you mentioned that you havent been feelin too good lately but when you do this "diet" you will defiantly feel worst within a couple weeks.

advice: dont do this diet unless you want to feel like butt cheeks, sure you will lose some weight but heres the kicker, you'll put it on twice as fast once you stop. your body is put in starvation mode when you do this diet, you are depleting the most EFFECTIVE energy source in your body (carbys). so once you stop the diet and revert back to your old eatin habits you body will start thinkin "damn son! we gots some food, ima store as much as i can cuz i dont know when the next time we gonna get this money" thus your body will retain much more carbs and start storing them because it doesnt know when the next time it will get this sexy easily utilized energy called glucose and you'll gain all and maybe more weight on.

p.s. carbs = 4 cals fat = 9 cals....... think about it for a minute.

Didn't like the way i felt. Had minimal energy for basic activities and the superfluous-approach to the meat i was consuming was beginning to persuade me to become a vegetarian as i missed my gluton-laden dishes (diet is like the conceptual theme of checks - just gotta keep it balanced).

But instead of being lazy and attempting to reformat my diet exclusively, i tried this thing called exercising.

Hey - different folks, different strokes. Don't take our word for it, though. Try it for a while and tell us how it makes you look/feel. It just might conjure the results you've been yearning for so long or however long you've had this unconscionable covet.

I say; you could be drinking low fat milk if you wanted to, cuz it's not like you're fat or anything.

Good luck wood chuck.

p.s.

And revive that quasi-pretentiously sound avatar you had on displayage.

Or give us a weekly photo update and we'll gauge whether or not this Atkins-esque routine you're taking is affective or nay, believe a part of what's said.

And let all that excess sodium seep in your knee cartilage (make you ski on your arms and tits).

Just be careful, it could probably be harm for ya, kid (wouldn't be surprised to see leaky discharging drips).

Yuuummm...
