Feathers plucked from angelic wing
Spanning the width Required to sustain flight
In the stratosphere, bathed in
Lagoons of flames to cremate its essence
To grains of divine sand plowed
From manned farming fields
Foreign exchange brings this ivory spice
To our harbors, vigorously sprinkled
Into the bloodstream of the underworld
Swimming among the blood in its countless
Arteries To the parched lips of traveling alveoli
Forever craving the taste of heaven
Mountains of snow flakes land in my nostril
Adhesing to my mucus, flutter to my sinuses
With the cold fronts swooshing through
Cartlidge, mushroom clouds form
In my olfactory, my being Pollinated
With an unearthly euphoria
I levitate above all limits as
sprout wings of my own
ascend the outershells of the
atmosphere, see apparitions
and ghost the naked eye couldn’t
feel the tiptoe of a army of millipedes
crawling every cubic inch of my skin
tickling every disc column of my spine
hearing the murmurs beyond
the ears perception of decibels
profound thoughts appear and vanish
in the blink of an eye, Experience the
essence of being truly alive
I land soundly on the ground, back to reality’s
Plateaus pertrifed, as the snow littering my noses
crevices and ridges melts away
the season change, and I see dead bodies
littering the cities darkest allies
faces scrunched inward from walking in hailstorms
beating at me, bone structure well defined
from making angels in the snow
their complexion paled from walking in fogs
of talcum powder, frozen rock solid
in their angelical voyage, their deformities
appearing on me as the winter ends
snowmen all gone, I grasp a palm full of
the remaining snow, blow it up to
the skies so the angels can
have it back
