Been playing this on my ipod since i got the leak... it's like a Team Sleep album except you replace Chino with a chick (Yes Alexander), & the drums aren't as aggressive.
Yes Alexander has this EP out with her old outfit The Casual Lust, & you could tell BSBD had did a lot of work with her... vocals are really dope (well placed, effective, & very lyrical - as stupid as that sounds but she's come a long way it sounds).
I think they said this album was actually recorded in 2007, which actually makes sense to me for some reason - but it has a bit of a dated sound (not that it's a bad thing). First run through it i thought it was weak, but it's grown like crazy on me. Stand out tracks for me are - Movements, Stillness, Tokyo Underground, & Once Away. Less "experimental sounding," & driven more by Yes than the vocal samples & beats driven Late Night Cinema release.
I mos def recommend this record for you guys. I have it in my favorite releases this year. If you heard it already, let me know what you thought.
