your list is a lil different to mine lol. but this aint even really close to what my top 20 bands would be like its just bands like fleet foxes, vampire weeknd, black keys etc have all had recent albums so i've been playing their **** more cause its fresh to me. like the smashing pumpkins are one of my fav bands but i dont play their stuff THAT often cause other than that trash they released this year they haven't had a new release in a long time. ditto pixies, beach boys, funkadelic etc

yeah mid 80s is defintely their peak....but i enjoy all their (or mark e smith's that is) periods. even the last album was real nice to me.

i like velvet underground. been meaning to get into the fall, but my tolerance for pretentious english post-punk is low.

If you do ever get around to listening to The Fall, cop "Nations Saving Grace" and "Wonderful and Frightening World...". "Nations Saving Grace" is a post-punk classic.
