Here are a couple of tips that I discovered by accident. A while back I purchased the Details Mens Style Guide from Amazon (I highly recommend it). Months later, I noticed a free subscription offer to Details in the back of the book. So I emailed Details telling them about it, and they started a free subscription for me, no verification of anything requested. Still waiting on my first issue though.
I also recently moved and missed the October Esquire with Halle on the cover (:(), so I went online to request it from Esquire. When I clicked the option of the issue that I missed, I got a message stating it was no longer in stock, but they will extend my subscription for a year because of it.
Maybe these will also work for your purposes......
Details by far is the best I've come across... it's GQ but slightly younger and more modern...

I don't get what race has to do with this...
I subscribe to Complex. I'll check Details cause Complex fashion is a little too young for me.

I was actually considering subscribing to Complex as well to diversify.
Yeah Osboog, that Details books is really dope. I think there is something in it for everyone, regardless of how fashion forward they are.

slightly more homo too. I think theyre editor is gay and thus the mag has a relatively large amount of gay-oriented content. I subscribe to Details and GQ, and for whatever reason, they started shopping my address around to folks and now im getting mail asking me to give to gay charities :weirdo:

Good looking. I went to an Ebony Fashion Fair show and they were giving out free Ebony mag subscriptions with tickets. But I did not feel like feeling out the form right then and there.
