What's the deal with Soy Protein powder?

I'm hitting the weights and doing cardio again after a break from losing alot of weight in the past 4 months. I wanted to drink shakes but can't digest milk, lactose intolerant for the L, so I need an alternative. Anyone used Soy Protein shakes/powder?

protein powder don't use milk man. Some mix it with milk but I use water since I'm lactose intolerant myself.
