Sneak Geeks: Final Countdown Package (they make ladies size, so don't delete)

For all the kick afficionados out there, i know we've all been having a great year with the countdown package/collezione shiits Nike and Jordan brand has been releasing this past year.

Well, for the final package, we have the 11/12 tandem. While these two are near the top of my most favoritist edition of the J-O brand/line, it really boils down the the color, which is the other important factor of a shoe (the first being aesthetics, but jordan is synonymous with culture/lifestyle, that's why most of us purchase it and we'll cop it because of that reason).

With all said, i had extremely high hopes for this last set.

Then i heard what the color schematic Nike would release these as (which is my least hue-combo, depending on the shoe, but these two in particular i'm sick of).

Jordan 11? Forget about the Concords making a comeback, not even the Columbias.

And for the 12s? No taxi's. No playoffs... not even the white and reds.


For both, NIKE/JORDAN WILL BE RELEASING THEM IN RED AND BLACK!!!

I have never been so dissapointed in my life.


The most anticipated pack and we have these FUKKIN" WHACK ASS COLORS. Both, of which were retroed in the milllenium.


Man, i could have died in peace if they released the concords and the taxi's in the same package.


I would have copped 2 packs (no shakur).

11's = grey/white, concords, columbia, spacejams

12's = white/red, taxi, playoff

But that's being really idealistic.


I think the only form of redemption the nike camp can swing back with is a release of the infrared 6's next year.

I'd have 3 pairs easy.

Momma would wear those to work. And she doesn't know about shoes like that (poor momma, she's huge on Coasters).

A fella would nut seeing his mom in them (for the sake of fashion, no freud).

We still haven't seen pics of the XIIs, and I imagine their will be slight change to the BREDs, like what they did with the Last Shots and Shadows. But we'll see

so where in that post does it say that 12's are taxi's?


unless black/black varsity red is the new coded jargon nike uses to describe white/black and yellow.


but to the post above this one. I don't think the 12's are overrated at all. They are timberland boots disguised as basketball shoes. In layman's terms, XII's are well constructed, rugged shoes that perservere through intense courtyard hoop matches (concrete included) and even longer through constant daily street stompage. They feel ok (more stiff than its 11 predecessor), but that just means you have to wear them for a tad longer before break-in period.

I only owned one pair of 12s and they were the Playoffs.

Beautiful concoction of full-grain upper leather and precision-cut textile-rich rubber sole. The design is heat, too. Love the aesthetics of the shoe and it never gets dated.

When you rock 'em with shorts... it's like a pac album... "All Eyes On You" playboy.

I don't mind black and red jordans, just nothing past 8.

The XIIs I had back in the day were the best cushioned Jay's I've ever had.

I think the Breds are hideous and the white/reds look like Ronald McDonald shoes. I only really like the Playoff CW. The design is meh, but the comfort was top notch
