At what point....will we see, different fuel being used for our cars and trucks?
Before we die...I guess depending on how young you are..
I'm 29, so I don't think i'll see it, but i'm hoping at least my grandchildren will see it...when they are 64...

yo, it would be cool, but if u remember in back II the future, the flex capacitor was fixed to run on trash. but the engine on the delorean still ran on unleaded. remember that's why couldn't easily go back to the future on part III after the indians severed the fuel line.

We should start to see alternative fuel sources in our cars in the next 15 years. It takes time to build an infastructure to support an entirely new economy, but there's already quite a bit of work done towards this goal. Hydrogen fuel cells, for example. BMW has already created a hydrogen cell prototype with some promising results. Hopefully American carmakers will be the pioneers of such change.

honda also has a fuel cell car too. its only available in cali and as a lease vehicle. and given the lease is like $699 a month, its not feasable for most normal people.
