New album early next year. Anything with Damon Albarn I'll support. But IMO...Blur >>> Gorillaz

i like demon days, but you should check The Good the Bad and the Queen as well...

Gorillaz is just a bit dark/funkier...

Damon Albarn was the frontman of Blur, a very popular Britpop band during the 90's (fyi that "WOO-HOO' joint, Song 2, is by them. You've probably heard it before). They've been on hiatus since '03, and Albarn has focused more on his other projects, Gorillaz and The Good, the Bad & the Queen. All of these groups have different sounds though, so you can't really compare.
If you want to get into Blur, then first go with their greatest hits to get a feel of what their sound is like. After that, most likely Parklife then Think Tank, but that's just my opinion. TGtBtQ have only one album so if you really like Albarn's stuff then this will be a good listen.

They have 2 albums, IMO great, but Damon Albarn has done a bunch of other stuff.
