I just finished a slutty Eric Jerome Dickey novel called Thieve's Paradise. The first Dickey book I've ever picked up; what in the hell is all the hype over this guy ? I'm gonna check out some more stuff though, just in case.
a few chapters into A Continent For The Taking: The Tragedy and Hope of Africa - Howard W. French... more my speed.

Im reading "Church Folk" by Michele Andrea Bowen. It's a good book, about a preacher faced with dirty scandles going on his church demomination. Also, good example of strong black love too.

Just finished Terry McMillan's new one, The Interruption of Everything, pretty good.... hard to get through the first 3 chapters, but after that, i was feeling it.
I also just finished Love and Murder in Brooklyn by Glenville Lovell, nice read, and a good change, especially if you're sick of the typical black fiction.
