number 5 is coming out in october.......did you read "black house" aka talisman 2? That makes a lot of references to Roland in there. But my dog is Eddie Dean, that kid is tough as nails.....(like the Jules from Harlem)

I'm too busy working on my own manuscripts to let someone elses books influence my work, and I won't read trash. I don't know what the black house and talisman stuff is about. BTW That Dean character is a kind of funny. He drug dealer turned gunslinger. **** is tight. Stephen King be coming with the gangsta ****. And he gotta black biotch to boot. Too bad she can't walk. LOL.

Ok, so I read this book called Reinventing the Woman (semi-romance novel, yet not quite) and it was good yet confusing. Anybody else read this, cause I'd really love to discuss it...

Either way I did not post Koran, it may "mean" that in arabic but the meaning different religions put behind it also "means" something as well.
carry on.

The English word "Bible" comes through the Latin from the Greek word bi·bli'a, meaning "little books."

just finished:
Night by Elie Wiesel - had to read it for class, it's pretty good. It's about a young Jewish boy's time in concentration camps.
Stupid White Men by Michael Moore - funny as hell. This guy is as left wing as they come. Probably has the biggest cajones out there for all the stuff that he says.
currently reading:
The Blind Assasin by Margaret Atwood - still trying to figure out if I like it or not. I'm 200 pages into it and I'm still trying to figure out the point of the story.
can't wait for:
The new Harry Potter book!
