been on some ‘f-ck a dream’ sh-t lately
as in I don’t live the dream, I give the dream babies
sons & daughters designed with messiahs in mind
something staying behind to extend my shine
beyond my sacrifice, got to practice life
to ensure those after me a chance to do it right
and see the postseason, I’m all rebuilding years
watching dynasties fall, duck plummeting peers
crawl up out the rubble seeking foundation
build anew atop this broken nation
sibling rivalry with God, this creation
gonna be a demonstration of what miseducation
taught me, bought me time by selling soul
sought the shine, but fortune telling told
that the glint of gold often only gilded
those seeking heaven never think to build it
