My favorite these days is probably squats (legs). Which is ironic cause legs used to be my least favorite thing to work on.

My least favorite these days is curls (biceps). I really hate the certain burn on my biceps. Most other lifts I feel good doing but curls for me hurt and not in a good way.

Favorite = deadlift, nothing makes you feel more like a man

Least, BB incline lol weak at it cuz ignored it for the DB version. Very out of proportion to my flat bench.

I dread leg day. Especially if I go hard squat the 8 plates. I can barely walk up stairs the next day.

Fav: Chest (bench press), triceps (skullcrusher), shoulders (military press)

Least: Biceps (all), calves (calf raise), abs

Half & half:
Deadlift - I like the feeling of lifting heavy ass weights, but I hate the fact that it totally kills me for the rest of the night
Legs (squat, leg press, extensions, curls, etc) - I like the fact that my legs grow really fast, but I hate the feeling of not being able to walk normally for 2-3 days.

Tricep dips>>> most weighted tricep exercises.

but my least favorite thing to work out is my abs because finding an exercise that targets all those muscles is difficult.

i feel you on that...but not w/ bench. I gotta watch how much I try to deadlift, its easy to fuk shyt up when your lifting heavy w/ the deads.

My least favorite lifts are Squats and Deads....they just take so much out of you. And I Squat twice a week

my favorite is chest and shoulders...I ain't cut or nothing (yet) but when I'm done with that shyt I feel like I could punch through walls n shyt.

I don't like back...simply because sometimes I feel like I can't really feel the exact muscle group that's being worked....probably need to build up the muscle first though, because before this past summer I NEVER did back.

Back pump (no homo) feels freakin' awesome... It feels like there's a bulletproof vest embedded in the back... And the lats spread like wings... But yeah, it does take a while before you can really feel it. But it's definitely worth it!!

you think you can explain how to do these exercises?

Visualize your back muscle contracting and stretching, try to imagine your arms as a lever and not the focus of your exercise, and go a little lighter and slower until you get used to the mind-muscle connection.

Keep in mind there are several muscles in your back. Lats are used (or focused) in pull ups/downs (chin/pull-ups, lat pulldowns, etc), rhomboids and lower traps are used in rows (seated row, bent over row, etc). When doing any rowing exercises, pull it to your abs/lower chest to maximize the target muscles activities, as if you pull it too high it will hit your upper traps/rear delts.

My usual back routine is...
deadlift 4 x 5-7
pull/chin up (varying grips) 3 x as many as possible
seated cable row 3 x 10
lat pulldown 3 x 10
- supersetted with straight arm pulldown 3 x 10
row machine (random choice each week) 3 x 10

Yeah, I think I need to build up the back a bit more. I started working out (the way I am now - about 3 - 4 times a week) at the beginning of July. Back is always a touchy work out cuz I'm afraid of hurting myself. I would be screwed for a while if I injured my back and I've been doing so well with the work out routine I don't wanna stop.

I don't know what the back exercise is called but this morning I was doing these things were I would stand with my legs straight (shoulder width apart) and my back bent over and I would take the bar bell (palms out like I was curling) and bring it into my belly button. It was kinda nervous because I wasn't sure how much my back could take. I was uneasy while doing that, too.

Sounds like Barbell bent-over row with grip variation.

It's a great exercise, but if it's not comfortable for you, you don't have to do it. Personally I find most of the bent-over exercises uncomfortable on my lower back as well.

I wouldn't worry too much about hurting your upper back. I never heard of anyone hurting their upper back, although I'm not saying it's impossible. Lower back is a different issue but if you do squats, deadlifts, and ab/core exercises, you don't have to work out your lower back separately. Deadlift can be tricky to master so you gotta be careful with that, but everything else is pretty safe in my opinion.

You know...it's like I bust my phuckin ass in the gym and the last thing I wanna do is waste time on something because I'm doing it wrong or because I don't do it right because I'm scared that my lower back is gonna get hurt.

For back I do the pull downs and the sitting row...I just wanna find a good third exercise to do for the back. Props on the link.

I know it's best to have a trainer or something there to help you with your form and shyt but I'm broke as a muphucka and know I can figure this out on my own.

also, this morning I was trying this one-armed back exercise with the cable. It kind of mimicked me started a lawn mower or something with my oposite foot out and the opposite arm pulling the cable (that was on the floor) out to my hip.

Trainers are freaking expensive and most commercial gym trainers don't know shiit. I learned everything by researching on the internet and asking random people in the gym. But anyway I'm glad I could help.
