the only thing good about bmw's is they offer full service and maintenece under the OG warranty. if u get an 07 next year, u could still have 2 years of free maintenece given ur car has decent mileage on it.

Only 3 series worth owning are the M cars.

I'll tend to agree w/ you to a point.
The higher end 3 series are nice cars, especially the used ones. You can get some deals.

look around on auto trader and the kbb.com classified sections for a few weeks....when i was looking at cars a year ago i saw some great deals
here's an 05 for 23,000
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=p&car_id=254245933&dealer_id=63516249&car_year=2005&num_records=75&model=5_SERIESCLASS_SERIES&systime=&make2=&highlightFirstMakeModel=&start_year=2005&engine=&keywordsrep=&keywordsrep=&keywordsfyc=&keywordsfyc=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=100&marketZipError=false&search_lang=en&showZipError=n&make=BMW&color=&keywords_display=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&seller_type=b&position=top&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceASC&address=77070&advanced=&end_year=2007&transmission=&doors=&max_price=&cardist=18&rdpage=thumb
so if u wait until september 09 you should be able to find an 06 for 25k

man it cost a grip. my moms got a 5 series and her transmission recently went out. since they got the warranty, its covered, but the parts and labor would have cost over $5000.
my sister has had 2 3-series. each one was a used demo car from the dealership. she leases them due to the free maintenence, and then gets a newer one before the warranty expires.

Fukk outta here. That shyt been on the Car & Driver 10 best list for like 20 years. It's the prototypical sports sedan / coupe; the one every other car is judged by. I say if you can afford one, get one.

i'm 6'1 200 lbs, i feel like that car is too small for me, it looks like a baby mama car. i like the 5 series and up
but its a beautiful car, so if u like it then do you.

*shrug* Fair enough. Personally, I'd have no beef with rockin a 6-speed 335 coupe w/ Dinan chip (380 hp) and some 19" wheels.
