anybody else listen to them? been hooked on London Calling for weeks. Whats their 2nd best album im looking to cop their catalog.

Excellent band. London Calling is an indisputable classic. I recommend copping their first (self-titled) and second (Give 'em Enough Rope). Sandanista was a huge album with only a few good songs, and every other album after Sandanista sucks. Actually, Black Market Clash is pretty good, but its more of a compilation album (of B-sides).

One of the greatest bands ever.

Oh, well I have the two disc "Essentials" (greatest hits) album, and Combat Rock, which is another really good album.

I wouldnt compare The Clash's sound to Entertainment. Nonetheless, its a classic album I also would reccomend to people.

How can you hate on The Smiths? Granted, Morrissey gets a bit too camp, at times; other than that, they're great.

But yea

The Clash is up there, one of my favorite bands of all time. Lot of slept on classics

Clampdown
Spanish Bombs
Mustapha Dance
Somebody Got Murdered
Hate & War
One More Time

And of course the hits... I fukks with them hard, I listen to them maybe 2-3 times a week.

Gang Of Four is w/o a doubt my favorite band of all time, no questions asked, but they don't sound much like the Clash. I am not sure liking one would lead to the other. Go4 is more like Delta 5, The Au Pairs etc

But yea u can't go wrong with the Clash. It's crazy cause they were great musicians, but also very intelligent (w/o being preachy). Timeless band
