Can't see avatar nor upload one

i've been having issues with uploading my avatar. Now before i was able to upload any photo i could, and now it keeps saying unable to save file. Even when i upload one from off my computer it says the same thing. What is going on???

many people are having this problem, and others. we're aware that there are technical issues at this time, and are working on them.
