I had copped a 90lb set of powerblocks before with a bowflex 3.1 bench but I still went to the gym since I was missing squats and some other things

I have since acquired a commercial grade power rack with pullup bar and squat platform built in, 2 45lb bars, about 550lbs of weights(need more plates soon), an ez curl bar and another commercial adjustable bench.

I been alot more consistant and my gains have been coming faster(got tired of seeing people in the gym while working there..people bothering me when working out)

I want to get some more items(bars, mats, storage), a cardio machine or 2

I been digging it :afro: no homo on the smiley after digging it, not hittin men nah mean pause

When I own a house that's one of the first things I'm getting.

The power blocks were $400 with the stand and bench (blocks cost 588 on their own) bench would be 150 and stand 130 if bought in store

the rack, bench and 300lb set cost me 0, cuz I brokered a deal to a guy off of craigslist that buys gym equip..I found some equip he wanted and we worked out a trade..shyt wasnt as smooth as planned but it did work

*edit* look what it is, the stuff I got him and my pics :headphone
http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/spo/861469126.html

The extra weight, bar, ex curl bar, dumbbell bars cost me 100

next Ill cop more weight and mats

I get weight for .35 a lb ofr Ivankos or .50 for iron grip from this guy

If you want weight equipment craigslist is the way to go

So about 500 invested

I have a single car garage so I need to organize it a little more. I put the blocks at my pops townhouse so he can workout when hes in town, but Imm bringem back soon

I also need some more j-hooks and attachments for the rack...you can gettem here
http://www.newyorkbarbells.com/1030.html

Ill buy this for storage (plates and bars) $89 shipped on ebay(holds 2 bars) My rack can hold the other one. If I get more bars I may need a dedicated bar holder also.

I've got a cheap setup right now. Just a bench with about 200 lbs of weight and some dumbells, exercise ball and a weight vest.

I really don't have the money as a student right now to get extravagant, but I make it work basically just by knowing a decent amount of ways to vary exercises.

sounds legit. i've had a few boot leg setups in my backyard when i couldnt afford gym dues. but i like going to an actual gym because when i know im paying for it, and when i actually get there, i gotta do my workout and i gotta finish hard. when its at my house i can make excuses or put it off.

but if you got a squat rack, adjustable bench, olympic bar and plates, an optional ez bar, and a weight belt...then thats all you really need.

I do basic sit ups/press ups and dumbells at home. Most of my work-outs are at the Gym because I feel more motivated. When I have the opportunity I go to my friend's house, his basement has a lot of space that is full of the newest equipment. Better than some Gyms I've seen in fact. His family is on that wealthy sh1t so it's no wonder.
