It has been 14 years, but this album still sound fresh as hell today. Listening to this album as well as MLIR & The Great Escape makes me hope for a reunion, but Damon has other views in mind (plus a new Gorillaz album is in the works).
Point is, one of my favorite albums of the Britpop scene. So for those who have heard this classic, your thoughts?

Did you listen to Parklife or just judging Blur off of the overplayed hit, Song 2?

i downloaded my best of blur album the other day, i only had the great escape out the albums you mentioned, i hated on them abit in the ninties, cos i was an oasis stan haha (being 15 and all), but i love the best of, so many songs i forgot about from the nineties and dsoime i didn't realise they sung.

oh and props on surkin av
Blur served their purpose. After '96 they were a Coxon/Albarn vehicle and Think Tank was obviously all Damon.
I do love most of their music though. Can't go wrong with either MLiR or Parklife. TGE was good, not fantastic. Some of the songs sucked. ST was a good change of pace but still not perfect, 13 was inconsistent and Think Tank was incredible. Let's not discuss Leisure.

Anyone a fan of Graham Coxon's stuff?

Love me some Pulp. Jarvis Cocker is an underrated song writer and I hope the band reunites in the near future, maybe even for Coachella or something. Dunno I'm just a fan of Britpop I guess. Oasis, Blur, Pulp and Suede (even though they are "different")
